As he got into House music he immediatly knew that this genrewas going to change his life forever. After a few yeras as a artists director at the club Take5 in Biel Switzerland, Aston decided to concentrat on his career as a Producer. Canadian DJ/Producer Christian Alvarez discovered what would turn out to his greatest passion in life to date - House Music. Exposed to the world's mecca of club culture Christian's fascination with Djing was instantaneous. A son of a Latin musician who was inspired by funk, soul, disco and pop Christian had grown up in a house of music from an early age. In 2000 Christian began Djing and compiled records which were inspired by his roots creating his signature sound of uplifting House. His first moves towards making music of his own began in 1989 with an Amiga500 computer connected to a portable keyboard (the Yamaha PSR-3500 for you techies). Still, tape recordings of his first overdubs done with two ghetto blasters exist. Still being a student at school in 1994, he got to know Len Faki aka DJ Lamonde, who should be his mate and label partner for the coming years. Today JonSilva is a world reknown and respected Producer having done work for the likes of; Armand van Helden, Kool & The Gang, De-Phazz, Si Begg, John Dahlbäck, Funky Derrick, Laidback Luke, Babak Shayan, Denard Henry, Monsieur Charles or Pino Shamlou... just to name a few...any questions?
